Miharu Matsunaga: Ten-ten

Birth of a Book
Beautiful video of traditional pre-press, offset print to produce hand-bound books
Glen Milner produced this book-binding vignette at Smith-Settle Printers in Leeds, England as the binders bound Suzanne St Albans’ Mango and Mimosa.
“Air Camera of the Day: Designer Yeon Su Kim has come up with a camera concept that lets users take pictures and video just by making motions with their hands.
The camera itself is a ring worn on the thumb, and it’s activated by bending a tension-sensing device worn on the forefinger.
When you press down with your finger as if you’re pushing the shutter button on a regular camera, it takes a photo. If you make a video camera gesture, it starts taking video. There’s no display to preview your shots, but they sync wirelessly with your smartphone.
